By taxi from the airport (recommended)
It is the fastest and most direct way to get to the city. Taxis can be taken at the airport terminal.
Taxi service is a public service, regulated, with fares set by authorities, safety protocols, and mandatory insurance. Taking a taxi after your flight provides comfort, security, and avoids unexpected charges.
Taxis have a roof indicator, exclusive and regulated by law:

Taxi colors may vary by municipality. In the Madrid region, most are white:
-
Taxis in Madrid city have a red diagonal stripe on the front doors.
-
Taxis in Alcalá de Henares have a purple diagonal stripe on the front doors.

Each airport terminal has an official taxi stand, clearly marked and served only by taxis with the proper features. If you’re unsure, you can ask the driver to show their official taxi credentials.
By bus from the airport
Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport has four terminals. From any terminal, you can easily and quickly reach any part of the Madrid region using public transportation.
Bus line 824 provides a direct connection from Terminals 1, 2, and 3 of Barajas Airport to Torrejón de Ardoz and Alcalá de Henares.
The final stop of the line is at the External Campus of the University of Alcalá.
