This course is designed for educators and educational professionals who wish to update their skills in using artificial intelligence and the most innovative technological tools applied to language teaching—whether as a native language or a foreign language—at the primary and secondary education levels.
Throughout the course, participants will have the opportunity to refresh both the digital and methodological aspects of teaching. This will allow them to enhance their teaching practices by developing digital competencies that facilitate more efficient classroom and school management. In addition, they will be able to optimize the teaching–learning process by integrating advanced technologies into their daily work.
In this regard, participants will explore the latest trends and digital tools that will not only help them create innovative teaching materials but also assess students and improve both internal and external communication within the educational community. Special emphasis will also be placed on how artificial intelligence can contribute to the organization and management of educational institutions by optimizing administrative efficiency and fostering a more dynamic and personalized learning environment.
Beyond the technological focus, the course also addresses current methodological approaches in language teaching. Participants will learn how to design, assess, and implement effective learning activities using contemporary evaluation techniques. They will also be trained to teach linguistic content in a communicative manner while exploring various cultural expressions in the Spanish classroom, thereby enriching the students’ learning experience.
To effectively integrate these areas of knowledge, the course combines theoretical and practical sessions. Through interactive activities such as workshops, visits, and in-class exercises, participants will acquire new insights while reflecting on their application in everyday teaching practice.
The experience in Alcalá de Henares—a UNESCO World Heritage city and the birthplace of Cervantes—will complement the course with a rich cultural offering. Located near Madrid, this historic town provides a unique setting to combine education and culture. The program includes a variety of activities that will enrich the academic experience while allowing participants to enjoy the vibrant cultural life of the city and its surroundings.
